Get Me
Video for “Get Me” from Dinosaur Jr’s Where You Been album.
Directed by Matt Dillon.
Via Spin Magazine - “Teen hearthrob Matt Dillon, who played a long haired, stocking-capped, mumbly, reticent singer in the movie Singles, hopped to the other side of the lens to direct the video for Dinosaur Jr’s latest U.K. single, “Get Me.” Filmed in Amherst, Massachusetts, the clip is part performance and part storyboard, with long-haired, stocking-capped, mumbly, reticent singer J Mascis tapping his deepest actiing abilities to play the role of a sort of lonely depressed guy. Dillon also lent cameo vocals to Dinosaur Jr’s U.K.-only B-side cover of the Flying Burrito Brothers’ “Hot Burrito #2.” Dino’s new ten-song album, tentatively titled Where You Been, will be out in late January.”
