“Dinosaur Jr’s “Just Like Heaven” (1988) which was my first attempt at editing and using a green screen - the lo-fi aesthetic was intentional. I built a small set, and transformed the puppets to punkers. The room was inspired by J Mascis’ childhood bedroom and the posters on the the wall are actual punk show flyers I scaled down. It played on MTV a couple of times until Sesame Street asked that it be removed.” - Maura Jasper
