Triple J Radio in Australia has a radio special they put on called “The J Files” (recently relaunched on Double J) and on Feb 15, 2001, J Mascis was the focus of the 3-hour show. This was just before he was to go to Australia in support of “More Light”. The show consists of lots of fan requests, a phone interview with J scattered throughout along with interviews with James Straker, Kim Gordon, Carolyn Polley (Big Heavy Stuff), and other fans. If you’ve got 3 hours to kill and want a pretty good Dinosaur Jr / J Mascis mixtape to listen to scattered with interviews and such look no further.
